The British singer, actor, heartthrob and former member of the pop group One Direction headlined the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2022. In his first Coachella appearance, Styles showed off his musical versatility with a set that featured chart-topping pop hits, soulful ballads and a few new songs off his 2022 album “Harry’s House.” Donning a long, furry black coat with a red glow around him, Styles opened his set with the single, “As It Was.” It marked the first live performance of the song from the album.

Joining Styles on stage during Weekend 1 as a surprise guest was country legend Shania Twain for a duet of Twain's 1997 hit "Man! I Feel Like A Woman." Midway through his Weekend 2 set, the sounds of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" started emanating from the stage, but it wasn't Gaynor belting out the lyrics. It was Lizzo.

Lizzo and Twain are also scheduled to perform at Acrisure Arena later this year.

Coachella wasn't Styles only stint in the desert. He also appeared in the 2022 film "Don't Worry Darling," which was filmed in Palm Springs in 2020 and drew attention when production crews were spotted at the Kaufmann House and Canyon View Estates community.

USA TODAY ranked "Harry's House" at No. 1 on its 10 best albums of 2022 list and the album is nominated for a Grammy.

According to Styles' website, his 104-date "Love On" tour officially starts with the three shows in Inglewood at the KIA Forum and includes 28 countries.
