A few celebrities showed up for Game 7 of the Phoenix Suns-Dallas Mavericks series at Footprint Center Sunday.

The Suns didn’t.

Lil Wayne, who was at earlier games and tweeted something pretty harsh words about Mavs star Luka Dončić after Game 4, was there. Announcers Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller spent part of the third quarter talking about what a big sports fan he is, because that was more interesting than the game.

This wasn't the rapper's first visit to a Valley sports event as he has shown love for the Suns and Cardinals on several occasions. But he couldn't have been happy Sunday, as Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant tweeted: "wayne at the game too luka took dat personal."

Larry Fitzgerald, the former Arizona Cardinals great and a minority owner of the Suns, was there, of course, perhaps pondering his investment. Former baseball great Alex Rodriguez looked bored, and who could blame him?

And Travis Kelce, the great tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, was there, too. In fact, he was the subject of one of the more interesting conversations between Harlan and Miller, who were padding their coverage with whatever they could come up with, so huge was the blowout.

Kelce had said that Patrick Mahomes, his all-world quarterback, had planned to come, but missed his flight.

He didn’t miss much.
