Lil Wayne’s ‘No Ceilings’ mixtape now on streaming platforms 11 years after initial release

Lil Wayne has new music out — but it isn’t really that new.

On Friday, the hip hop icon released the 2009 mixtape on digital streaming platforms such as Tidal and Apple Music.

More than a decade after it first appeared, a shortened version of the opus contains 12 tracks of the original had 21, and it features guest artists including Drake, Shanell, Lucci Lou and Tyga.

In honor of the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant, the “No Ceilings” also include the bonus track “Kobe Bryant,” which the Grammy Award-winning New Orleans native performed as tribute during this year’s BET Awards.
