Lili Reinhart Comes Out as Bisexual
Lili Reinhart has come out as bisexual.
The Riverdale star made the announcement via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, June 3, while sharing information for an LGBTQ+ Black Lives Matter protest she plans to attend in West Hollywood.
“Although I’ve never announced it publicly before, I am a proud bisexual woman,” she wrote. “And I will be joining this protest today. Come join.”

This is the first time Reinhart has opened up about her bisexuality—though she has talked in the past about her love life in general. The actor has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with her Riverdale costar Cole Sprouse. (As of now, the two reportedly are on a break.)
Lili Reinhart has also been public about her support of Black Lives Matter and the ongoing protests following the killing of George Floyd by police officers.
“I want to say that I am ashamed of the racism that exists in this country,” she tweeted on June 1. “We are taught to look at our police officers as helpful and friendly when we learn about ‘leaders’ in elementary school. Our ‘leaders’ have failed us today. I can’t begin to imagine the horror of worrying that you won’t be protected by your ‘leaders’ because of the color of your skin. I know that white privilege exists and I could never fully understand what it’s like to be oppressed because of my race. I don’t have all the right words, but I stand by you. #BlackLivesMatter.”
Sprouse revealed on June 2 that he was arrested during a Black Lives Matter protest. “A group of peaceful protesters, myself included, were arrested yesterday in Santa Monica,” he wrote on Instagram. “So before the voracious horde of media sensationalism decides to somehow turn it about me, there’s a clear need to speak about the circumstances: Black Lives Matter. Peace, riots, looting, are an absolutely legitimate form of protest. The media is by nature only going to show the most sensational, which only proves a long standing racist agenda.”
