Sometimes, you just find that ‘sweet spot’ with your hair length and stick with it. That’s what Lili Reinhart seems to have done over the years.

For as long as we can remember, the Riverdale actor has sported mid-length hair that sits just below her shoulders. Of course, she has mixed it up here and there, usually by rocking super long hair extensions, like when she attended the Met Gala.

Let’s also not forget all of the hairstyles she has to wear in her role as Betty Cooper, which includes some seriously tight ponytails. Thankfully, she has figured out the perfect haircare routine to keep her hair – and her natural curls – in good condition.

But now, it looks like Lili was looking for a change.

The actor posted a quick video on Instagram Stories, in which she’s sporting a bob. But guys, this isn’t just any ol’ bob.

In the video, Lili swishes her hair about and it becomes clear that there is minimal choppiness to the cut, making it a blunt bob.

Now, blunt bobs – a bob that involves your hair sitting at one length, as if it were sliced in one chop – were one of the biggest hair trends towards the end of last year. And we’re so happy to see Lili keeping the trend alive into 2022.

Her new length sits above her shoulders, and we think it’s probably the shortest we’ve seen her hair. We also can’t stop thinking about how bouncy and healthy her natural curls must be after this haircut.

On the video, she wrote ‘chop chop’ and tagged both her hair colourist Matt Rez and hairstylist Adam Campbell.

We think it’s fair to say they absolutely served it with this new ‘do.
