Lily and Charlie officially tied the knot on Saturday, September 4 and Lily commemorated her forever love by posting a gorgeous photo on Instagram. In the photo, she and Charlie share a romantic kiss in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado.
"I've never wanted to be someone's someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other's forever. I love you beyond," Lily captioned the photo by Cedar and Pines. In it, she's wearing a stunning white lace gown while Charlie is wearing a classic black tux.
February 14, 2021:
Lily celebrated her first Valentine's Day as Charlie's fiancé with an Instagram post and a photo from the proposal. "To the one who fills my heart every single day, from your perfect morning cappuccinos to the way you make me feel endlessly loved," she wrote. "Happy VDay @charliemcdowell. I can’t wait for forever with you."
September 25, 2020:
Lily and Charlie announced their engagement on Instagram, sharing images of her and Charlie with the caption, "I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together..."
The actress later told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest about the proposal on Live with Kelly and Ryan saying she was really surprised by the whole thing. Charlie popped the question while the pair was on a road trip to New Mexico. "It was all pretty much pre-planned," she said. "He did a self-timer video, which we were then able to then later get screen grabs. But, he set the whole thing up without me knowing, obviously. It was the best surprise ever."
Lily also revealed that it was just a matter of time that the two got engaged. "It was kind of one of those situations where I knew the second that I met him that I wanted to be his wife one day," she said.
December 18, 2019:
Redford joined Lily and Charlie's little family! Lily welcomed her new pup with a sweet Instagram post.
"World, meet baby Redford," she wrote. "I couldn’t be more grateful that this little man came into our lives from @loveleorescue. It was absolute love at first sight and I know we’re going to have so many incredible adventures ahead. Welcome to the family!..."
