Limestone County Commissioners advise motorists to be mindful of farm traffic

Oct. 4—Limestone County Commissioners Jason Black and Daryl Sammet are urging motorists to be mindful of farm traffic this time of year, to slow down, and be cautious.

"During harvest time we have a lot of equipment that's on the roads and it's slow-moving equipment," Black said. "(Motorists) just need to make sure that they pay attention on the roads."

Sammet urges motorists to be cautious on the overpasses at Black Road and Wells Road in Limestone County. He said the guardrails have been extended and the tractors have difficulty seeing if a motorist is coming.
