Lincoln Park arts center presents funny murder-mystery 'The Play That Goes Wrong'

MIDLAND – You'll laugh at this murder-mystery.

Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center presents "The Play That Goes Wrong," June 16-18 and 23-25 in the MainStage Theater.

The Tony Award-winning comedy follows the antics of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society trying its best to stage a production of a 1920s murder mystery. As the show’s title might suggest, this is not as easy as it sounds with everything that can go wrong, doing just that.

"There aren’t many guarantees in life, but I absolutely guarantee that you will never laugh harder in a theater than you will with this show and these actors,” Justin Fortunato, producing artistic director of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, said. “If you’ve never seen a play, this is the one to see. From start to finish, this show is nonstop action and laughs appropriate for all ages.”
