LINCOLNTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A Lincoln County woman was arrested Monday for two death by distribution charges, and both victims allegedly were family members.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said 38-year-old Brandee Nicole Flowers was charged in connection with an incident that occurred on Sept. 18, 2023, at a residence in the 500 block of Horseshoe Lake Road north of Lincolnton. That’s where two people were reportedly found dead inside the home by family members.

Deputies say fentanyl toxicity was listed as the cause of death for both victims, identified as George Adamo, 63, and Jessica Lynn Propst, 42, both of Lincolnton. The couple had been living in a trailer behind the residence.

According to deputies, Flowers sold and delivered fentanyl to the couple prior to their deaths. Flowers, of Mauney Drive in Lincolnton, was ordered to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.

This was Lincoln County’s first by death by distribution arrest since a new law went into effect Dec. 1, 2023.

Flowers will have a first appearance in Lincoln County District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
