The National Television Awards 2020 have confirmed this year's shortlist, with Peaky Blinders, Line of Duty, Strictly Come Dancing, Ant & Dec and Graham Norton all racking up nominations.

Organisers have narrowed down the shortlist three months after the massive longlists pretty much nominated every TV show and presenter back in October.

Among the highlights this time around is Ricky Gervais's Netflix series After Life breaking into the Comedy category, where it will contend with Fleabag, Derry Girls, Sex Education and Mrs Brown's Boys.

The Drama category is jam-packed with hits, as Line of Duty, Killing Eve, Call the Midwife and Casualty all compete to unseat last year's winner Peaky Blinders.

The Talent Show category is full of old favourites, as last year's champ Strictly Come Dancing tries to fend off Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice UK and Dancing on Ice.
