On this episode: When Roe v. Wade fell Friday, its fate handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court, it sent a wave of emotion across Michigan women.
Michigan has an abortion ban on the books from 1931. Now that the landmark ruling on Roe — which affirmed a constitutional right to abortion — is gone, only a temporary injunction keeps abortion legal in the state. And that could change.
On a special episode of the "On The Line" podcast, host Cary Junior II reviews what's at play in a post-Roe Michigan. Free Press reporters also cover celebrations and protests in response to hear what Michigan women made of the news.
"On The Line" is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher and Google Podcasts.
