Linguini the chiweenie is still missing after fire in Ridgewood

A chiweenie (chihuahua-dachshund mix) named Linguini is still missing following a house fire in Ridgewood on Monday afternoon, according to a Facebook post by Bergen County NJ Lost and Found Pets.

While the Liberty Street home was considerably damaged in Monday's fire, there were no injuries reported, but Linguini is still missing.

"We are very grateful for our friends, family, and the Bergen County community who have been so supportive during this time," said owner Tess Zaorski.

Linguini is a 9-year-old male and weighs about 12 pounds. He is microchipped with an active lost alert associated with his ID.

The Zaorskis are asking that residents of Liberty Street, South Irving Street, Hope Street, and the surrounding area check their properties and security cameras for any sightings of Linguini.

If you have seen Linguini or have any information, call 551-245-7130 or contact Ridgewood police at 201-652-3900.
