Lions Club show returns with big laughs and show-stopping hits

The Cambridge Lions Club returned to the stage, bringing their music and comedy show to the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center over the weekend.

The packed house laughed their way through the evening in between musical selections. Music from the last 23 years was featured. The chorus and band were led by music director Karen Boyer. Some of the selections included Kayla Wyers performing "King of Anything," Cheri Harding and John Voorhies belting out the Lady Gaga hit "Shallow," and Aimee Hayes wowing the crowd with her rendition of "This is Me."

The show included a group of "interrupters," who kept the laughs coming as they performed short comedy scenes between numbers. Tim Jones and Kim Conrath were joined in their hijinks by Mike Edwards, Scott Robinson and Mike Carpenter.

Dave Conrath closed the evening with a by thanking the crowd and residents of Guernsey County for their support of the Lions Club. Conrath also spoke on the area first responders and was joined on stage by members of the Cambridge Fire Department, Cambridge Police Department, and the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office.
