Lions now sit 11th in 2021 NFL Draft order after Week 6

Sunday’s win in Jacksonville vaulted the Detroit Lions back outside the top 10 in the 2020 NFL Draft order. The crazy weekend of results from Week 6 shook up the rest of the draft order, too.

The Lions victory over the Jaguars moved Detroit to the No. 11 overall slot. At 2-3, they’re tied with the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, but the Lions have a lower strength of schedule — for now. That could change if the Kansas City Chiefs win on Monday night, however. Denver defeated New England in Week 6 to put both teams square with the Lions.

The New York Jets are the only remaining winless team after the New York Giants beat Washington and the Atlanta Falcons thumped the Minnesota Vikings. Those teams hold five of the top six overall spots, with the 1-5 Jaguars rounding out the group. Houston (whose pick belongs to Miami), the Chargers, Eagles and Bengals are the other top-10 teams. None have more than one victory.
