Sep. 7—The New Hampshire Liquor Commission will open a NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in Claremont on Thursday.

The store is approximately 10,300 square feet, nearly doubling the retail footprint compared to the original building, the commission said in a news release. It will will feature approximately 3,600 wines and spirits.

The prior 5,500-square-foot Claremont NH Liquor & Wine Outlet opened in 2001 in the Claremont Marketplace. The new store will remain within the Claremont Marketplace, alongside Market Basket, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx and other retailers.

The commission opened two new stores in May in New London and Littleton, both rebuilt and relocated. It plans to build a 13,000-square-foot store at 850 Gold St. in Manchester, with a scheduled opening of spring 2022; a 12,000-square-foot store in Concord at Exit 17, opening early 2022; and a 10,500-square-foot store in Rindge, expected to open in summer 2022.
