Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley’s only child, ex-wife of Michael Jackson and an accomplished artist in her own right, died Thursday at a Los Angeles hospital after a cardiac arrest. She was 54.

Presley suffered the medical emergency at her home in Calabasas just two days after attending the Golden Globes.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” her mother Priscilla Presley said in a statement. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”

At Tuesday night’s Golden Globe Awards, Austin Butler won best actor in a drama film for his portrayal of Lisa Marie’s father in Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis.”

Butler dedicated part of his acceptance speech to Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley, who was also in attendance at the awards ceremony in Beverly Hills.

“Thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me,” Butler said. “Lisa Marie, Priscilla — I love you forever.”

Born Feb. 1, 1968 to Priscilla and Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie was famous from the day she was born. By age 12, she’d inherited the Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tenn., and at age 25, she formally inherited her father’s estate.

“It’s been all my life,” she said in 2015 of Elvis’ influence on her life, despite his death when she was just 9 years old.

“It’s not something that I now listen to and it’s different. Although I might listen closer. I remain consistent on the fact that I’ve always been an admirer. He’s always influenced me.”

In 2003, she released her first studio album, “To Whom It May Concern.” She followed up with two more albums, one in 2005 and another in 2012. The final record, “Storm & Grace,” received the highest praise from critics.

Presley also married several famous figures throughout her life: musician Danny Keough from 1988 to 1994, “King of Pop” Michael Jackson from 1994 to 1996, actor Nicolas Cage from 2002 to 2004 and guitarist Michael Lockwood from 2006 to 2016.

Of her marriage to Jackson, she told Oprah Winfrey in 2010, “I didn’t understand my relationship with him. I always confused that manipulation, thinking that it meant he didn’t love me. But I understand it better now. The manipulation was a survival tactic for him.”

Last year, Luhrmann told the Daily News he’d received insight into the “King of Rock and Roll” from Presley and said he’d “cherish” her reaction to “Elvis.”

“She knew her father’s vibe, but it’s one thing to grow up not knowing your father and having lost him,” Luhrmann said in June.

“It’s another thing that one half of the world thinks he’s a god and the other half thinks he’s a Halloween costume and a joke. It came home to me how difficult that’s been for her, and then somewhat the lifting of that burden has really come home for me, too.”

Presley visited Graceland to celebrate the anniversary of her father’s birth on Jan. 8.

But less than a week later, she collapsed in her own home. Keough, who’d been living with her recently, returned and began performing CPR until medical professionals arrived, according to TMZ. Presley was rushed to a nearby hospital and given a temporary pacemaker, but she died just hours later.

Presley had four children — Riley and Ben with Keough and twin daughters Finely and Harper with Lockwood. Ben Keough died by suicide in 2020 at age 27.
