Dec. 3-4:

Christmas Bazaar, 3:30-8:30 p.m., St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road (Rt. 662) Amity Township, Dec. 4, 9-11 a.m. Cookies, candy, pies, apple dumplings, chow-chow, fresh greens, crafts, soup, lunch items, eat-in or take out, Santa's workshop.

Friends of Exeter Community Library holiday sale, 1-5 p.m., 4565 Prestwick Drive, Exeter Township. Wreaths, homemade cookies and crafts. Sale continues Dec. 4, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Dec. 3-5:

Christmas at Joanna, Historic Joanna Furnace Iron Works, 5-9 p.m., Furnace Road, near Morgantown. Dec. 4 and 5, 4 -9 p.m. A three-night 19th century Victorian Christmas family destination. Admission: $10, adults, children 12 and under, free. Three miles north of Morgantown off Route 10. Look for signs and enter by turning on Furnace Road. Parking is available on site and along Furnace Road. A safely lighted, easily accessible parking area is along Furnace Road. For the safety of visitors, all are encouraged to avoid parking along Route 10.

Dec. 3

Boyertown Area Historical Society's Holiday Tour, 4-9 p.m., 43 S. Chestnut St., Boyertown. Tour starts at Boyertown Area Historical Society. Tickets are $15. Advanced tickets at The Peppermint Candy Store, Frecon Farms or online at BoyertownHistory.org. Tickets can be purchases the day of the event at the Boyertown Area Historical Society (cash only).

Dec. 4:

St. Thomas Church Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., 536 N. Main St., Bernville. Homemade crafts, doll clothing, purses, ornaments, cards, cutlery, baked goods, candy, cookies, jams, soup, egg sandwiches, hot foods. Information: 610-488-6702 or stchurchbv@verizon.net

The Daniel Boone Optimist Club Annual Holiday Craft Show, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Coventry Mall, 351 W. Schuylkill Road, North Coventry Township, Chester County. Handcrafted items made by local crafters, food, refreshments and popular raffle featuring items from attending crafters.

Free Community Giveaway, noon-1 p.m., Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100, Barto. Coats, books, lunch to go and more.

Spring Valley Boutique, noon-2 p.m., Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Road, Temple. Park in the upper parking lot, boutique is set up in the gym. Most items at the boutique are free. Featured items vary by month (depending on donations) but frequently include: clothing for women, men and children, shoes, handbags, jewelry, etc. Anyone looking to donate used items to this ministry can do so during boutique hours.

Muhlenberg Community Library's Annual Holiday Open House, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., 3612 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Polar Express model train, photo booth, story time, treat bags with crafts, cocoa and more. Free and open to all ages.

Chillin' on Main, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown. Building a Better Boyertown's annual holiday event offers an enchanting stroll down the town's main street where festively decorated shops offer unique gifts. In addition to craft and gift vendors, local businesses and nonprofits will be offering a variety of games, crafts, and activities for children and their families to enjoy.

Dec. 5:

Kutztown Community Library's holiday tour, 1-4 p.m., 70 Bieber Alley, Kutztown. Featuring seven local and historic churches. Tickets are available at the library. Cost: $15 per person or two people may travel together for $25.

Cantata, 9:30 a.m. St. John Hill UCC., 620 Hill Church Road, Boyertown. The choir and guests will present the Cantata composed by Pepper Choplin,"The Heart of Christmas".

The "Nutcracker" is back and in-person following last year's virtual performance Dec. 18 at 1 and 6 p.m. and Dec.19 at 2 p.m., Scottish Rite Cathedral, 430 S. Seventh Ave., West Reading.
