Sweet treats, holiday bakery, and homemade cookie sales are scheduled all over the Milwaukee area and beyond. Here is a list, in date order, beginning with pre-order events:

PRE-ORDER

Mukwonago Food Pantry: Place order online by Dec. 4 for Cookie Bake Sale fundraiser. Classic Christmas Cookies selection: Date Walnut Pinwheel (contains nuts), Candied Ginger-bread Whoopie Pies, Espresso Chocolate Thumbprints, Peppermint Pinwheels, Vanilla Pizzelle, Spritz Butter Cookies, Jellied Thumbprints, Peanut Butter Blossoms (contains nuts), Molasses Crinkle, Walnut Cranberry Orange Slices (contains nuts), Snickerdoodles, and Chocolate Mint Pinwheels. Prices are $5 for half dozen; $8 per dozen. Large Order Special is $45 for 6 dozen (half a dozen of each Classic type). Double Large Order Special is $90 for 12 dozen (1 dozen of each Classic type). Flood Sugar Cookies have special pricing at $40 for 2 dozen, $20 for 1 dozen, and $10 for a half dozen. Women of St. Jude: Order and prepay by Dec. 6 for Hughes’ Home Maid Chocolates. Holiday sale features meltaways, toffee, maple creams and a variety of other chocolates. Order forms are available online at stjudeparishwauwatosa.org, or call Patti at (414) 875-0875 to request an order form. Return the order form with payment to the parish office at 734 Glenview Ave., Wauwatosa. Pickup is Dec. 14, outside the St. Jude School entrance at 800 Glenview Ave., Wauwatosa.

DEC. 3-5

Caledonia Historical Society: Christmas Bake Sale, 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 3; noon to 7 p.m. Dec. 4; noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 5. Cookies available will be decorated cut-outs, chocolate chip, and peanut butter, salted nut rolls, as well as breads, candies, and apple, blueberry, cherry, and pumpkin pies. Elmbrook Historical Society: Holiday Bake Sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4; 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 5. No admission for bake sale only customers. Dousman Stagecoach Inn Museum, 1075 Pilgrim Parkway, Brookfield.

First Congregational United Church of Christ: Cookie Sale, 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 4. Homemade cookies are sold by the pound for $9, pick your own pound, or select a pre-bagged assortment. The cookie sale is a fundraiser for school scholarships. Masks are required. 76 S. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn.

Historic Third Ward: Christmas in the Ward Cookie Sale, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 3. Cookies are donated by local bakeries, and all proceeds from the sale benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin. Cookies are individually packaged. 138 N. Broadway.

Holy Apostles Church: Heavenly Cookie Walk, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 4. Pick your own pound, or select a pre-boxed assortment. Cookies are $8 a pound. 142 Lake St., Pewaukee. Pre-order is available, call Marilyn, (414) 759-2075.

Mukwonago Community Library: Midnight Magic Cookie Walk, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 4. The cookies are sold at $8 per pound, pre-boxed at 1 or 1/2 pound, and separated by nuts, or no nuts. The volunteer bakers make a variety of cookies, from spritz, gingersnaps, pinwheels, to decorated cutout cookies. Buy a raffle ticket to win a reindeer cookie jar filled with cookies for $1 per ticket, or six for $5. 511 Division St., Mukwonago.

Old Falls Village: Silver Tea and Christmas Cookie Bake Sale, noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 5. Cookies are plated and bagged as a bakers dozen for $4. Many other baked goods, holiday breads and bars sell from $4 to $5. Tour the Miller Davidson House and enjoy a free cookie and beverage in the decorated dining room. St. Aidan’s: Christmas Bazaar and Cookies, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 4. Decorated sugar cookies at $12 per dozen, and mixed Christmas cookies at $8 per pound. Serving soups, brats and burgers, with lunch to go, and handmade crafts. Masks recommended. 670 E. Monroe Ave., Hartford.

St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church: Christmas Kolache Sale, 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 3. Sold by the pound, using walnut, apricot, raspberry and prune fillings. 4850 S. Lake Drive, Cudahy. (414) 481-0520.

St. Joseph Home & School Association: Christmas Cookie House, 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 4. Cookies, candies, hostess gifts and a holiday gift basket raffle. Cookies are $12 per pound. The association also has a pre-order and drive-thru option: Order cookie trays by Dec. 3, pickup on Dec. 4. St. Paul’s UCC - Erin: Christmas Cookie Walk, 9 a.m. Dec. 4, until sold out. Select your own festive homemade Christmas cookies, sold at $8 per pound. A glove and box are supplied for all shoppers. St. Peter’s of Lebanon: Christmas Cookie Sale, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 4; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 5. All cookies are baked in the church kitchen. Kranz Kucken and quarts of soup will be available for purchase. The featured soups include chili, vegetable beef, roasted butternut, chicken dumpling, turkey noodle, stuffed pepper, cheesy vegetable, and baked potato soup. W4661 County Highway MM, Lebanon.

All Saints Lutheran Church: Christmas Bazaar and Cookie Sale, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 11. Cookies are prepacked and sold in three size containers: Small $8; Medium $12; Large $18. 9131 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 449: Sweet Relief Cookie Walk, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 12. Homemade cookies and candies priced at $5 a plate. Proceeds from this event benefit veterans and military families. Masks required. 3245 N. 124th St., Brookfield.

Bay View UMC: Cookie Walk, 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 12. Assorted, prepackaged Christmas cookies are $9 per box. Bay View United Methodist Church, 2772 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.

Burlington United Methodist Church: Cookie Walk Drive-Thru, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until sold out) Dec. 11. Pre-boxed homemade cookies. Cash and local checks only. 857 W. State St., Burlington.

Jackson Park Lutheran Church: Cookie Sale, 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 11. Traditional and holiday decorated cookies will all be sold prepackaged inside the church lobby, from $8 to $12 depending on the container size. Masks are encouraged. A free Live Nativity event, with hot food and beverages, will be offered outdoors. 4535 W. Oklahoma Ave.

Latvian Lutheran Church: Latvian Christmas Cookie Sale, 1-4 p.m. Dec. 11. Event will also include crafts and jewelry from local Latvian artisans, and traditional Christmas cookies.1853 N. 75th St., Wauwatosa.

Mother of Perpetual Help Parish: Christmas Cookie Sale from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at 1212 S. 117th St., and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at 2322 S. 106th St., West Allis. Assorted homemade Christmas cookies are packaged in 1 pound clear boxes for $12 each. Formerly Immaculate Heart of Mary and Mary Queen of Heaven, the parish is holding a cookie sale at both worship sites. Masks recommended.

Redeemer United Church of Christ: Christmas Cookie Sale, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 11. Christmas cookies, homemade candies, and other Christmas treats come boxed and priced mostly by the dozen. St. Stephen Parish: Christmas Sweet Shoppe, 3:30 to 4:30 and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11; 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 12. Homemade Christmas cookies are sold before and after the weekend Masses. 1441 W. Oakwood Road, Oak Creek.

Senior Citizens Activities: Cookie Sale and Craft Fair, 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 11. Wide variety of Christmas cookies, chocolate chip, bars and loaves of zucchini, pumpkin and other breads.
