The It List: ‘Days of Our Lives’ celebrates 55 years of drama, ‘Mom’ returns without Anna Faris, and the best in pop culture the week of Nov. 2, 2020

With the Coronavirus pandemic in mind, here are our picks for the week of November 2nd.

The long-running NBC soap opera, “Days of Our Lives,” is celebrating a historic milestone - its 55th anniversary.

Since 1965, the drama has served up slo-mo wedding fights, gravity-defying supernatural stunts, and just the right amount of cake crashing.

Over on CBS, Mom is back - albeit missing one mom.

Anna Faris made the sudden decision to leave the show just days before they began shooting Season 8.

In a statement, she said in part, “While my journey as Christy has come to an end, allowing me to pursue new opportunities, I’ll be watching next season and rooting for my TV family.”

And last but not least, Game of Thrones is back… with a new Blu-ray box set. Got you there, didn’t I?

This collection includes the entire hit series, now viewable in stunning 4K UHD, and over 15 hours of bonus features. Just in case 8 seasons wasn’t enough.
