If you are ready for a break from preparing three meals a day, get ready to order from your favorite Walnut Creek restaurants.

The City of Walnut Creek, the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce, and Walnut Creek Downtown are making it easy by compiling a list of restaurants offering take-out, delivery, or both. It's an extensive list, so keep your favorite restaurants in business and try out a few new ones. (Not all restaurants have websites.)

And don't forget, California has eased rules around alcohol, allowing your to order beer, wine or mixed drinks with your meals — so go ahead and order a margarita with your tacos.

If you are picking up from a restaurant downtown, street parking is free through April 7. If you have a monthly parking pass you will still be able to use the garages, but they will be closed to everyone else.
