Listen! Kevin Costner Has a Playlist of His All-Time Favorite Country Songs

There's no denying that each season of Yellowstone has a very well-curated soundtrack. Music is half of what sets the show's ambiance, and the many musically-inclined cast members have certainly made their contributions—Kevin Costner among them.

Oh, and if you don't recall, Kevin is also a rock star in his free time! The man who portrays John Dutton has a band called Kevin Costner & Modern West, and their music has been featured on numerous Yellowstone episodes.

As if that's not enough to make you swoon, it turns out the actor is pretty darn good at curating his own list. Yup, the actor extraordinaire and certified hunk has a fantastic public playlist that's simply named "Kevin's Picks." 😍

Costner reshared the Spotify playlist on his band's Twitter back in September because he wanted new music recommendations. And what better way to find those recs than crowd-sourced from the fans?

The current list reveals an eclectic taste in country music that includes old-school classics from the likes of Bonnie Raitt and the late John Prine. Then there are songs from contemporary country or country-adjacent stars like Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Lake Street Dive, and his new Yellowstone cast member Lainey Wilson. A bit surprisingly, he also includes one Taylor Swift song featuring HAIM. (Is anyone else loving the idea of Kevin Costner jamming out to T-Swift? 😂)
