Tom Brady won 35 playoff games during his illustrious career, including five with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Four of those came during the 2020 season as the Bucs rolled to their second Super Bowl title.

With Brady retired, he’s replaced in Tampa by Baker Mayfield, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Mayfield has 31 victories as a starter during his five-year career. He has one playoff victory to his credit.

After four years in Cleveland, Mayfield was the opening day starter for the Carolina Panthers in 2022. He finished the season as the starter for the Los Angeles Rams.

Mayfield is just one of the many new faces that will take the field for the Buccaneers in 2023.

Gone is running back Leonard Fournette, who asked for and was granted his release in March. Also released in March was tight end Cameron Brate. And Six-time Pro Bowler Gerald McCoy retired last week at age 35.

It may not end there. Pro Bowl linebacker Devin White has reportedly asked for a trade. And there are rumblings Mike Evans could get dealt to Buffalo later this year.

To say this team will look different at the start of next season is an understatement.

They have nine picks in next week’s NFL Draft, and what they’ll do with their first pick at No. 19 is anybody’s guess.

Depending on which expert’s mock draft you look at, they could take an offensive lineman, a tight end or a quarterback.

On the latest episode of “The *State* of Florida Sports Podcast,” powered by the USA Today Network, longtime Bucs reporter Ira Kaufman breaks down what he thinks the Bucs will do with that first pick, as well as their subsequent picks.

Kaufman covered the Bucs for the Tampa Tribune for nearly 30 years, and now works for the independent site JoeBucsFan.com. So he knows this team as well as anyone, and he thinks he knows what the Bucs should do with their first pick.

"The trenches need help, a lot of help," Kaufman says during the podcast. "They've had defections from free agency. They still haven't recovered from Ali Marpet's retirement at the age of 28. Nobody saw that coming. The offensive line is in disarray."

He’ll also give his thoughts as to what the Bucs may do with their other eight picks. He’ll talk about what the team did during free agency. And he’ll give his thoughts on head coach Todd Bowles and general manager Jason Licht.

He also breaks down what is expected to be a weak NFC South, where the Saints will most likely be the team favored to come out on top.
