‘Élite’ Officially Renewed For Season 8 & Adds New Cast Member
Élite is making history at Netflix as the streamer’s longest-running Spanish language drama!
Netflix has announced that the beloved and oh-so-steamy series has been renewed for an eighth season.
Not only is Élite coming back, but there are some new students set to roam the halls and get caught up in the romance and drama of Las Encinas. Ane Rot (Killer Book Club) and Nuno Gallego (UPA Next) are the two new cast members that have been announced. Also, Mina el Hammani reprises her role as Nadia when the series returns.
As for who will be behind the camera, this time around there are four directors; Daniel Barone (Killer Women), Ginesta Guindal (In Love All Over Again), Jota Linares (Dancing on Glass), and Elena Trapé (The Distances) will be splitting the directing duties.
While it’s way too soon to guess at a release date, what we do know is that production begins on the new season next month.
