Manu Rios and Arón Piper, two of our favorite stars from the murderously steamy Spanish teen drama Élite, are reuniting for the thrilling new Netflix series, Muted.

Back on Élite, Rios played the damaged loverboy Patrick and Piper played closeted tennis player Ander. At one point or another, both boys were in a relationship with Omar (portrayed by Omar Ayuso) but also had a fling of their own going on. Needless to say, it didn't end well... but at least they both made it out alive.

Fans are excited to see the two reunite in a brand-new Spanish series. "Sergio Ciscar has remained silent since he killed his parents," the official description of the show reads. "Six years later, he is released from prison to enter a surveillance program led by a psychiatrist who will try to figure out what he is hiding behind his silence.”

Piper plays the stoic yet beautiful Sergio, who allegedly threw both of his parents off a balcony to fall to their deaths. Following his release from jail, the Spanish authorities start keeping tabs on him just in case he murders again – or to discover what really happened since Sergio hasn't spoken since the incident. He quickly becomes entangled with a girl (who might just be a police plant), and here is where Rios pops up as the woman's protector. It's unclear if Rios is his boyfriend or brother, but it's safe to say we likely won't get any more scenes of Piper and Rios making out as a couple.

Muted was created and produced by Spanish screenwriter and TV producer Aitor Gabilondo and is eight episodes long. Almudena Amor and Cristina Kovani also star in the series.

Muted premieres May 19 on Netflix. Watch the trailer below.
