Quote from Reznikov: "Today I had the honour of welcoming my brave Lithuanian friend and colleague Arvydas Anušauskas in southern Ukraine. He was the first defence minister to visit us following the beginning of the full-scale war, in March of last year."

Details: Reznikov said that he and Anušauskas "have agreed further steps needed to defeat the terrorist state".

Lithuania announced earlier that it plans to give Ukraine nearly 40 million euros of military aid.

In January 2023, Lithuania’s Ministry of National Defence announced that it will give Ukraine several dozen L-70 anti-aircraft guns, two Mi-8 helicopters and ammunition. Lithuania will also help train around 1,600 Ukrainian military personnel; the country is considering the possibility of organising training for low-level commanders.
