Little Flock mayor appoints new city attorney

LITTLE FLOCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Little Flock appoints a new city attorney, according to an announcement from Mayor Jeff Van Sickler.

Shane Perry will take over as the city’s attorney.

Perry also serves as the city attorney of Pea Ridge, according to the Arkansas Municipal League. Van Sickler says he will serve as city attorney for both cities.

“Mr. Perry comes highly recommended and is well respected in his field and we look forward to his guidance,” said Van Sickler.

George Rhoads was the previous attorney for Little Flock where he served for 40 years.

“We would also like to thank, and express our sincere gratitude, to George Rhoades for his 4 decades of dedicated service to our City. We wouldn’t be where we are today without him,” said Van Sickler.
