Fall Harvest Sensory Play Day

DOVER — On Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m., join UNH students in a Fall Harvest Sensory Play Day in the Lecture Hall of the Dover Public Library. With tactile guessing games, sensory bins filled with fall items, shaving cream, rice, and scented play doh, this event is perfect for children 3 to 5 years old, but all are welcome. Thanksgiving pie sale

BERWICK, Maine — The Berwick Public Library’s annual Thanksgiving Pie Sale will take place beginning Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 9:30 a.m. There will also be breads, and other goodies available for purchase. All money raised helps support the library. Sale will continue on Wednesday, Nov. 23, if some are still available.

Free Thanksgiving dinner

Exeter Holiday parade craft fair

EXETER — The Exeter Holiday Parade Committee is presenting a craft fair on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the historic Exeter Town Hall building by the bandstand. The craft fair is the perfect opportunity to purchase some utterly unique items for holiday gift giving and admission is free to the public. In addition to the variety of crafts, the Town Hall stage will be set with holiday scenes perfect for capturing family photos. Patrons are welcome to use the stage to take their own holiday-themed photos.

Little Indonesia Holiday Bazaar 2022

SOMERSWORTH — Indonesian Community Connect Inc. will host the 2nd annual of the Little Indonesia Holiday Bazaar 2022, happening on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 12 to 5 p.m.

These events, which are open to the public, offer community members a chance to immerse themselves in the rich Indonesian culture through traditional cuisines, cultural performances, live music entertainment, traditional dances, job fairs, consular services, COVID-19 vaccine, community information booths, and much more.

BERWICK, Maine — The Our Lady of the Angels Penny Sale will be held Sunday, Nov. 27, at Noble Middle School on 46 Cranberry Meadow Road in Berwick. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Drawings start at 3:30 p.m.

Get to know the Indigenous People of the Cochecho

DOVER — Join us at the Dover Public Library on Monday, Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m. for a lecture on Indigenous Land Stewardship.  This event is made possible by a grant from New Hampshire Humanities. Presentation about the Hutchinson Family Singers

SOMERSWORTH — On Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the Somersworth Public Library, there'll be a talk about the Hutchinson Family Singers. The year is 1876, and New Hampshire's own John Hutchinson tells his family’s story "straight from the horse's mouth" and sings their music with lyrics provided. Originally from Milford, N.H., the Hutchinson Family was among America's most notable musical entertainers during the mid-19th century. Sponsored by NH Humanities. ‘Elf the Musical’ opens Nov. 30

PORTSMOUTH — “Elf The Musical” is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern-day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner Elf.
