The Little Mermaid's Daveed Diggs and Umbrella Academy star Emmy Raver-Lampman are expecting a baby.

The two actors, who appeared together in Broadway's Hamilton and Apple TV+ show Central Park, shared their happy news via Instagram with a series of adorable maternity photos.

"We can't wait to meet you," Raver-Lampman wrote in the caption.

Several of the actors' friends and co-stars were quick to send their congratulations to couple, sharing their joy at the big baby news in the comments.

Earlier this year, Diggs spoke about his role in the live action Disney movie, telling Digital Spy how the iconic track 'Under the Sea' was recreated for the film.

Explaining how Ariel actress Halle Bailey ended up singing in this version, Diggs revealed it came about after a last minute improvisation in the studio with Bailey and composer Alan Menken.

"Alan was like, 'Why don't you just, you know, just go in and improvise'. And I was like, 'You traitor, don't make me sing with her!'" he said.

"Then immediately she came in and did like two little trills and I was like, 'Well, I'm done, we can stop now, there's no reason for me to record anymore."

The Little Mermaid is now available to watch on Disney+, and to buy from Prime Video, iTunes and Microsoft Store.
