Little Mix's Perrie Edwards confirms pregnancy with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.

The singer, who is in a relationship with Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, revealed the happy news in an Instagram post today (May 10).

Perrie shared pictures of her baby bump, with Alex by her side, to her followers on the social media platform.

"So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate," she captioned her post.

"Me + Him = You 🌎♥️

"We can't wait to meet you, baby Ox!"

Alex posted the same photos on his own Instagram account, with the caption: "Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies? 😅 So grateful and excited to become a dad ❤️ Bring on the sleepless nights 🤪"

Perrie's news comes less than a week after her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock revealed her pregnancy with Watford footballer Andre Gray.

"We've dreamed about this moment for so long and we can't believe the dream is finally coming true," Leigh-Anne wrote. "We can't wait to meet you."

Late last year, Perrie joked that she would love to be proposed to. The Little Mix stars were guests on The Jonathan Ross Show when they heard how Joe Wicks proposed to his partner.

After Leigh-Anne and Jade Thirlwall also revealed how they got engaged, Perrie replied: "I'd like it to be the traditional way.

"I hope he's watching this and heard Joe's incredible story. Four years we've been together!"
