HARBOR SPRINGS — The Little Traverse Bay Humane Society will participate in the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters Holiday Hope event from Dec. 1-10.

Thanks to the generosity of the BISSELL Pet Foundation, adoption fees for all adult cats and dogs (excluding puppies and kittens) will be waived during this time. The event will take place at the shelter located at 1300 W. Conway Road in Harbor Springs.

Interested individuals are encouraged to fill out an adoption application in advance to increase the likelihood of receiving the animal of their choice. Little Traverse Bay Humane Society rescues 500-plus animals each year and serves thousands more within the community by offering boarding, grooming, daycare, training and veterinary services. All shelter animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption.
