Shirlene Pearson, known as Ms. Juicy, went to the hospital April 28. Her sister announced this week that Pearson suffered a stroke.

“She has just been moved from ICU but is still in the hospital recovering for what we know will be a long road,” Tanya Evans wrote on a GoFundMe page.

Evans said the family doesn’t have a “definitive date” of when Pearson will be released from the hospital or when she can get back to work.

“We do need your help until she recovers. Whatever you can give, we would deeply appreciate it. Thank you so much for keeping her and us all in your prayers; we are all truly thankful,” Evans said.
