Littleton, Lunenburg take Mid-Wach C indoor track titles, Ayer-Shirley sweeps Mid-Wach D crowns

Boys' indoor track

Mid-Wach C Championships: Bona Bradshaw won the 1,000 meters (2:50.22) and 2 mile (10:22.10), and Max Thouy won the 55 hurdles (8.71) and the high jump (5-10) to help Littleton claim the league title on Friday at Fitchburg High.

Littleton's Timothy Rank (mile, 5:02.38) and Tyler Castillo (55, 6.84) also recorded wins and the Tigers swept the relays, winning the 4x220 (1:44.28), 4x440 (4:02.16) and the 4x880 (10:03.05).

Lunenburg finished second as Tim Smith won the 300 (37.96), Zach MacLure prevailed in the 60 (1:32.25) and Mason Bowser took the shot put (41 feet, 4¼ inches).

Mid-Wach D Championships: Jacob Kalgren topped the field in the 55 hurdles (8.62) and was third in the shot put, and Arthur Ribeiro was second in the 300 and third in the 55 to help Ayer-Shirley repeat as league champions on at Fitchburg High.

Patrick Bergin was second in the 1,000 and third in the mile for Ayer-Shirley, while Cole New was second in the 600 and Stetson Daisy second in the high jump.

Bromfield's Samuel Secor won the 1,000 (3:00.61) and mile (5:01.15), while teammates Colin Harte won the 300 (39.91), Jack Stahl took the 600 (1:33.02), and Harrison Binnick captured the 2 mile (11:19.13).

Clinton's Gavin Naughton won the 55 (7.04), and teammates Nick Zoltany was tops in the high jump (5-10), and Braydon O'Leary won the shot put (41-3.50).

Clinton was second in the 4x220 relay (1:49.63) and the 4x440 relay (4:23.66), and Bromfield took the 4x880 relay (10:21.78).

Girls' indoor track

Mid-Wach C Championships: Lunenburg's Abby Rodriquenz won the 1,000 (3:21.15) and mile (5:43.36), and Carli Stanford won the 55 (7.77) and the 300 (46.63) to help the Blue Knights take the team title at Fitchburg High.

Lunenburg's Lauren Long was tops in the 2 mile (12:32.43), and Sarah Viveiros won the shot put (32-8).

Littleton's Savannah Liles won the 55 hurdles (9.46), Prianka Sarathy took the 600 (1:49.79), and the Tigers swept the relays, topping the 4x220 (1:44.38), 4x440 (4:42.10) and 4x880 (11:16.96) to take second.

Gardner's Elaine Schaeffer won the high jump (4-10).

Mid-Wach D Championships: Jordan Kosakowski won the 55 (7.94) and 300 (46.92) to help Ayer-Shirley win its first outright league title in school history at Fitchburg High.

Alison Gravelle won the shot put (27-10½) for the Panthers, while Ayer-Shirley also won the 4x220 relay (2:04.54) and 4x440 relay (5:00.75).

Murdock's Avery Murphy captured the 1,000 (3:23.15) and mile (5:41.36), while teammate Rachel LeBlanc won the high jump (4-6).

Bromfield's Isabel Jackson won the 600 (1:58.93), and teammate Rosie Bradley won the 2 mile (12:38.75). The Trojans also won the 4x880 relay (11:09.63).

Maynard's Izzy Burke won the 55 hurdles (10:34).
