Live on Abilene stages this weekend and coming up

With little relief in sight from the heat wave that is baking the Big Country, Potosi Live announced this week that a planned outdoor concert featuring country music favorite Aaron Watson on Aug. 6 will instead be held inside the venue's air conditioned event center.

Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the concert also featuring special guests Kylie Frey and Curtis Grimes.

General admission tickets are sold out, but - as of this writing - VIP tickets are still available for $49. Tickets can be purchased via stubwire.com.

If you’re a musician who has a gig, or you’re a venue owner who has a musician playing, send us your information. It’s free to be listed here, but we can’t tell everyone who’s playing if no one tells us.

Send your information to publishme@reporternews.com; or via mail in care of the Reporter-News, P.O. Box 30., Abilene, TX 79604.

Deadline is one week before publication.
