Class 3A finals and place matches for third, fifth and seventh

107: Colby Martinelli, Pennridge, won his match 12-1 over Santino Sloboda of Butler to place third.

114: Chris Dennis, Central Bucks West, lost his match 14-1 to Luke Willochell of Greater Latrobe to place sixth. Dennis becomes the first CB West freshman to win a PIAA medal.

121: Mason Ziegler, Quakertown, lost 4-0 to Cael Nasdeo of Williamsport to place second.

127: Eren Sement, Council Rock North, won his match 4-2 over Tahir Parkins of Nazareth to place third.

145: Collin Gaj, Quakertown, won his match 7-1 over Mac Church of Waynesburg Central to win the PIAA title. Gaj becomes Quakertown's first PIAA champ since Pat Flynn in 2006.

160: Bek Sadriddinov, Council Rock South, won his match 7-2 over Gavyn Beck of Franklin Regional to place fifth.

172: Talan Hogan, Pennridge, lost his match 9-4 to Luke Thomas of Bethlehem Catholic to place sixth.

215: Dante Burns, Conwell-Egan, lost his first-round match by fall to Grant Mathias of Berlin Brothersvalley (5:49).

215: Mark Effendian, Faith Christian, lost his first-round match 7-3 to Vitali Daniels of Bentworth.

Note: Since they won their preliminary matches Thursday morning, Conwell-Egan's Jeffery Spofford (107) and Kevin Bagnell (114), Palisades' Dan Haubert (172) and Faith Christian's Jason Singer (189) won't wrestle again until Friday morning's second round of consolations.

127: Steven Harris, Conwell-Egan, won his first-round consolation match 4-0 over Thanyal Miller of North Star to advance to Friday's second round of consolations.

133: John Haubert, Palisades, lost his first-round consolation match 1-0 to Blain Puchalsky of West Perry. The loss eliminated Haubert from the tournament.

145: Max Stein, Faith Christian, won his first-round consolation 13-0 over Gage Long of Bellefonte to advance to Friday's second round of consolations.

2:15: Mark Effendian, Faith Christian, won his first-round consolation 3-2 over Jared Blobe of Notre Dame-Green Pond to advance to Friday's second round of consolations.
