Live! Casino & Hotel Lights Up Property To Support The Front Line

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Police officers, firefighters and others have demonstrated their support for those on the front line of the new coronavirus pandemic. Emergency workers have held parades completely with lights, sirens and signs. Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County decided to light up the night while showing support for essential workers, first responders and local healthcare professionals.

"Even during these unprecedented times when we are temporarily closed, it is our mission at Live! Casino & Hotel to continue having a positive impact on our community. We are illuminating the property as part of the national Light It Blue campaign to pay tribute to the local health care professionals, first responders and essential workers who are on the front lines of this global pandemic," Anthony Faranca, general manager of Live! Casino & Hotel, told Patch. "The effort it took to create and light up the design using strategically placed lights in our hotel rooms is a modest gesture to help recognize those trying to keep us healthy and safe. We will continue to ‘light it blue’ every night for the immediate future.”
