It's not the quarterback matchup anyone anticipated just a couple of weeks ago. However, Sam Ehlinger is the Indianapolis Colts quarterback and Taylor Heinicke is the Washington Commanders quarterback in NFL Week 8 action.

The Colts (3-3-1) try to bounce back from a loss to the Tennessee Titans. The Commanders (3-4) are seeking their third consecutive victory.

Sam Ehlinger goes 17-of-23 for 201 yards in his debut as an NFL starter. He also has 6 carries for 15 yards, is sacked twice and loses a fumble.

Jonathan Taylor has 16 carries for 76 yards. Michael Pittman Jr. has 7 catches for 53 yards, and Alec Pierce 3 catches for 65 yards.
