LIVE: Colts lose a heartbreaker to the Eagles in NFL Week 11

DeForest Buckner has become a cornerstone of the Indianapolis Colts defense, missing just one game in three seasons since he arrived via trade from the San Francisco 49ers.

The Indianapolis Colts host the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 20, 2022, at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts (4-5-1) are coming off a win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Jeff Saturday's debut as interim coach. The Eagles (8-1) suffered their first loss of the season on Monday against the Washington Commanders.

The Indianapolis Colts lead almost all day against one of the NFL's best teams, but they can't hang on. Jalen Hurts' rushing touchdown in the closing minutes lifts the Philadelphia Eagles (9-1).

Matt Ryan is 23-of-32 for 213 yards, and is sacked 4 times in the second half. Michael Pittman Jr. has 6 catches for 75 yards.

Jonathan Taylor rushes for 84 yards, but is largely bottled up after gaining 49 yards on the first drive of the game.

Devonta Smith has 6 catches for 78 yards, and A.J. Brown 5 for 60.

The Colts didn't lead an opponent at halftime until last week. The Eagles didn't trail an opponent in the second half until last week. Now it's two weeks in a row for each. Weird.

The Colts score a touchdown on their opening drive but do little else offensively.

Matt Ryan is 11-of-14 for 76 yards and has not been sacked. Jonathan Taylor has 11 carries for 64 yards (49 yards on the opening drive). Michael Pittman Jr. has 4 catches for 44 yards.

Left tackle Bernhard Raimann has both Colts penalties.

Jalen Hurts is 10-of-14 for 111 yards, and A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith have 3 catches each. Hurts has also rushed for 35 yards.

Penalties and an errant snap squelched Eagles drives in Colts territory.
