Live Crabs Stolen From Fish Market in California's Morro Bay

This suspected thief has crabs, and lots of them, after raiding a tank full of live crabs at a fish market in Morro Bay, California, on April 3.

Security footage from Giovanni’s Fish Market shows a man in a car pulling up outside the market at around 3.30am on Saturday. He takes several minutes to break open the tank, using bolt cutters, before lifting multiple live crabs out of the water and loading them into a container and into his car.

Giovanni DeGarimore, the owner of Giovanni’s Fish Market, said the man took $200 to $300 worth of crabs in less than 10 minutes, according to the San Luis Obispo Tribune. Police were investigating the incident, reports said. Credit: Giovanni’s Fish Market via Storyful
