Live at the Garden: Country star Brett Young to replace Lady A for Memphis concert

Memphis Botanic Garden has announced country star Brett Young will perform as part of the Live at the Garden lineup this month.

This follows the cancellation of a planned Live at the Garden show by country-pop group Lady A. Last week, Lady A posted on its official social media accounts that band member “Charles (Kelley) has embarked on a journey to sobriety” and that they would be postponing their current Request Line Tour until next year. Tickets for the Lady A show have been refunded.

Lady A had been scheduled for an Aug. 20 slot at the Radians Amphitheater at the Botanic Garden. Young will perform on that date instead.

Young, who previously performed at the Radians Amphitheater in 2019, is touring in support of his latest album, “Weekends Look A Little Different These Days,” which follows his platinum-selling self-titled LP from 2017 and a gold-certified sophomore effort from 2018, “Ticket to L.A.”
