Live updates: Mid-Valley school delays, closures

The possibility of snow is forecast for the Willamette Valley until about 10 a.m. Tuesday. Salem and other Mid-Willamette Valley cities got a dusting of snow overnight while the foothills and mountain areas got more.

Here are school delays or closures announced so far:

  • Amity School District: Two-hour delay, buses on snow routes.

  • Blanchet Catholic School: Classes start at 10 a.m., no early bird classes. Bus schedule: QP at 9:20, St. Joe's at 9:30, St. Ed's at 9:20, St. Luke's at 9:20, Sacred Heart at 9:30.

  • Capital Christian/Sonshine Daycare: Two-hour delay. No morning preschool or kindergarten. Daycare opens at 9 a.m.

  • Cascade School District: Two-hour delay.

  • Central Electrical JATC: Two-hour delay.

  • Chemeketa Community College: All Chemeketa campuses and centers will have a delayed opening to 10:30 a.m. Tenant operations continue as required. Employees with questions are to connect with supervisors.

  • Community Action Head Start - Marion/Polk: Morning classes and duration classes canceled at Santiam Center, Dallas, Woodburn, and Salem-Keizer

  • Crosshill Christian: Two-hour delay, no a.m.-only classes.

  • Dallas School District: (UPDATED) Closed.

  • Gervais School District: All schools and programs on a two-hour delay.

  • Greater Albany School District: Two-hour delay.

  • Lebanon Community Schools: Two-hour delay, morning buses on snow routes.

  • Molalla River School District: Two-hour delay, morning and afternoon buses on snow routes, Route 10 no service above fire station.

  • Mt. Angel School District: Two-hour delay.

  • North Marion School District: No morning preschool, two-hour delay. Schools will end at normal times.

  • OCDC Headstart: (UPDATED) Silverton campus is closed; Mulino has a two-hour late start and no bus service; Concordia, Settlemier and Seymour all have two-hour late starts.

  • Perrydale School District: Two-hour delay.

  • Queen of Peace Catholic School: Two-hour delay, school opens at 10 a.m. and class begins by 10:15 a.m. Childcare opens at 9 a.m.

  • Salem Academy: Two-hour late start. No morning preschool, no before-school childcare.

  • Salem-Keizer Public Schools: Two-hour delay, including EDGE. No morning preschool.

  • Santiam Canyon School District: Closed.

  • Scio School District: (UPDATED) Closed.

  • Silver Falls School District: (UPDATED) All schools closed today. No evening activities or events.

  • St. Paul School District: Two-hour delay.

  • Willamette Elementary School District: (UPDATED) Polk, closed. Marion, two-hour late start. Yamhill Center, normal start time.

  • Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks): Two-hour delay. Before school care will begin at 9:30 a.m.

  • Woodburn School District: Two-hour late start districtwide.
