What: Community gathering for ethnic food, farm produce, coffee drinks, kid activities, music, and crafts.

Kids Art Camp
What: Kids will make a board each day while full day kids will also do a special art project. Snack provided but please provide lunch and drink if your child will be there all day. There will not be pre-chosen board designs. Please make sure you are purchasing the correct ticket.
When: 8 a.m. to noon, 1 to 5 p.m. or all-day Thursday, June 1 and each Tuesday and Thursday this summer

Music on the Mall
What: Music on the Mall offers concertgoers a variety of musical guests from jazz, rock, soul and more. Seating is limited; attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. This summer, Lucha Cantina will provide quick-service food and drink options out of a new kitchen built specifically for Music on the Mall. Additionally, drinks will also be available from Edgebrook merchant Cork, Keg, & Spirits. The opening night act is the Jodi Beach Trio.

Rockford City Market
What: More than 60 local vendors will have fresh produce, baked goods, handmade items, jewelry, cheese, honey and more. There will also be food trucks, local breweries and rotating kids activities. Live music on main stage and acoustic stage. On June 2, the performers will be Jon Bon Stamos and Andrew Robinson.

Friday Night Flix
What: This community event features kids activities, then a movie, with food trucks available through the whole evening. Enjoy face painting and balloon twisting by Characters 2 Life; themed activities by Discovery Center Museum; Rapunzel princess appearance from Forest City Fairytale Company; Coronado Performing Arts Center and BMO Center giveaways and more. Food trucks will serve from 6:30 until the end of the movie.

Queer AF Art Show Opening
What: This show kicks off Pride Month and will highlight artists from the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies, in a variety of styles and mediums. Come to support local artists and your friends and family in the LGBTQIA+ community. The show will run through July 22 during regular business hours or by appointment.

Downtown Rockton Sidewalk Sale
What: Two days' worth of sales in downtown Rockton. The block just west of Main Street will be blocked off for picnic tables and more sales tables in the area. There will also be live music in the evenings.

Annual Garden Fair
What: Community members can shop from vendors for a variety of plants, flowers, garden décor and art while listening to live music performances in the Fountain Garden and exploring Klehm’s grounds. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local food truck vendors.
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday

Cars and Coffee

Saturday Fun on the Farm
What: Bring the family to get outdoors and engage in safe recreational activities. Make memories at Rockford Park District's Lockwood Park. Activities include wagon rides through the park’s meadows and woods ($4; departs every 30 min.); free Sarver Children's Farm barn visits; and a hands-on pony experience.

Trinadora’s First Saturday Musical Potpourri
What: Janel Nelson and Ron Holm comprise the Trinadora Duo, who perform their musical mixture (vintage and contemporary pop, folk, country, jazz, blues, Latin, Celtic and variety music). Janel and Ron accompany their vocals with keyboard, ocarina, guitar, ukulele, fiddle, harmonica, Sax, bass, steel guitar, concertina and more instruments.

Model A Day
What: Meet Model A owners from throughout the Midwest. Guests and villagers are invited to dress in period attire from the 1920s and 1930s. Wander the streets to see more than 100 Model A’s as well as Clinton shops and restaurants. The annual event includes vendors, music, food and door prizes.

Concerts on the Creek Presents Inspiration on the Creek
What: On one Sunday of most months, Concerts on the Creek hosts a special program of inspirational secular and sacred music presented by some of the region's favorite performers. There is no preaching or liturgy. Mark Dvorak will be this weekend's performer.

Live at Levings
What: Construction for a permanent stage at Levings Lake Park will start soon. Because of this, the 2023 Levings concert series will be relocated. The majority of concerts will take place at Black Hawk Park. Live at Levings features a variety of musical performances, with select concerts preceded by a talent competition featuring various performers such as singers, dancers, rappers, comedians, magicians, and more great acts. There will be activities for kids including a bouncy house and your favorite soul food truck vendors. This weekend's Old School Reunion will feature performances by the Sounds of Slave, Home town Heroes, saxophonist Harlan Jefferson, funk band Too Deep and 815's own poetic artist Hip-hop Goat Jersey.

Tuesday Evening in the Gardens
What: The lineup includes regional and nationally touring musicians on 13 Tuesday evenings, beginning May 30. Musical acts perform from the Garden Pavilion. Concert goers enjoy an evening of local and regional acts, onsite food and drink vendors, and are invited to carry in lawn chairs and picnics for lawn seating. Performers June 6 are Chris Pierce of Los Angeles, Calif., with opening act Cash Box Kings from Chicago.
