Live Nativity scene in Northport features 80-foot set, actors, live animals
The True family and community volunteers will produce a live outdoor Christmas Nativity pageant nightly through Dec. 26 at 904 Princeton Place in Northport, near Faucett-Vestavia Elementary School.
The family says the story of Christmas will be told in an outdoor setting, staged with an authentic 80-foot set featuring drama, lights, 30 costumed actors and dancers of all ages, music and live animals.
There will be two 25-minute showings nightly at 7 and 7:45 p.m.
Admission is free.
Patrons are advised to come early for front-row seating.
Children will be allowed to pet the animals at the conclusion of the show.
This is the ninth year this Nativity pageant has been presented.
