LIVE: Phillies vs. Astros World Series Game 1 in Houston

Oct. 29—Assistant Sports Editor Matthew De George, who is the Phillies beat writer for the Delaware County Daily Times, will be tweeting each game of the 2022 World Series live.

He starts in Houston tonight. Game time is 8:03 and will pit Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola, who has a 3.25 earned run average in 2022, against the Houston Astros ace Justin Verlander who has a 1.75 ERA in 2022.

Game 2 is set for 8:03 p.m. Saturday in Houston and De George will be live once again.

There will be expanded coverage when the series comes to Philadelphia Monday night.
