UPDATE: Results below as of 9:27 p.m. with 44 precincts reporting out of 44. Results are final but not yet official.
As polls close in Columbia and around Boone County, the Tribune is monitoring election results as they come in. Check here throughout the night for up-to-date results as Columbia elects a new mayor, city council members, school board members and more.
Columbia mayor
With incumbent mayor Brian Treece not seeking reelection, the mayoral seat will be filled by a new face for the first time in over six years.

Columbia City Council
Two seats on the Columbia City Council will be on the ballot: the third and fourth wards.
A new face is guaranteed for the Fourth Ward seat, as current council member Ian Thomas is not seeking reelection. Incumbent Third Ward council member Karl Skala, meanwhile, is running again to represent his ward.

Columbia Board of Education
Four candidates are running for the Columbia school board this year. Two of the candidates will have a place on the school board for three-year terms. The only incumbent running in this race is Blake Willoughby.

Proposition 1
Proposition 1, the internet use tax to be considered by voters on the April 5 ballot, comprises two parts: one to impose a Boone County use tax and the other to impose a City of Columbia use tax.

Columbia school bond issue
Columbia Public Schools has placed an $80 million bond issue on the April 5 ballot. Plans with the estimated revenue include two new elementary schools as well as additions and renovations to the Columbia Area Career Center.
None of the school bond issues around the county would result in a tax increase for residents. All require a 57% majority for approval.
