Ryan Day and Jim Knowles preview Ohio State vs. Michigan at press conference

It's rivalry week for Ohio State football and Michigan.

The undefeated Buckeyes will take on the undefeated Wolverines in Columbus Saturday at noon on FOX.

Ohio State coach Ryan Day previewed Ohio State's 118th matchup with Michigan in his weekly press conference Tuesday at noon. Day was followed by defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Jim Knowles.

Ohio State is looking to return to its winning ways against Michigan after falling to the Wolverines 42-27 in Ann Arbor in 2021.

Michigan leads the series historically against Ohio State with a 59-51-6 record against the Buckeyes, but the Wolverines have won two of the past 17 meetings with the Buckeyes.

Ohio State last faced Michigan inside Ohio Stadium in 2018, beating the Wolverines 62-39.

ESPN's "College GameDay" and FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff" will both be on Ohio State University's campus ahead of the Ohio State vs. Michigan game Saturday.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh on Ohio State: 'There's no need for hate'

After securing his first win against Ohio State in 2021, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh showcased his gratitude for the Wolverines' annual meeting with the Buckeyes in his press conference Monday.

"There's no need to hate or anxiety or anger, anything. It's about being grateful," Harbaugh said "It is Thanksgiving week: grateful for this opportunity, these circumstances, grateful to be tested against this opponent at this time."

With both teams having "great players," great coaches" and "players with Heisman habits," Harbaugh said Michigan has a chance to display how strong it is against the Buckeyes.

"I think you got two teams that are like two superheroes going at each other," Harbaugh said. "And that's why we're so excited about being tested Find out about what we're made of."
