Live score: Miami Hurricanes take on North Carolina Tar Heels in ACC opener

The Miami Hurricanes are looking for a big turnaround.

After starting 2-0, the 'Canes have found themselves the holders of a two-game losing streak. Miami lost to Texas A&M 17-9 on the road, then suffered one of the season's biggest upsets, losing to Middle Tennessee State 45-31.

Today, Miami (2-2, 0-0 ACC) needs to bounce back, and they'll have a tough opponent to do it against in its ACC opener at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. North Carolina (4-1, 1-0) has an emerging star in quarterback Drake Maye, who has been responsible for 22 total touchdowns so far this season.

The Hurricanes have had a lot of uncertainty at quarterback. Against MTSU, Tyler Van Dyke was benched in favor of Nick Garcia after Van Dyke only threw for 138 yards, but Miami coach Mario Cristobal quieted the rumors, and named Van Dyke his starter against the Tar Heels.
