They combined to deliver a classic when they last met just about a year ago — a Monday Night Football thriller won by the Ravens.

Tonight in Baltimore, the Cleveland Browns and Ravens meet again in prime time, this time on Sunday Night Football.

Each AFC North team is coming off a win a week ago against an NFC North opponent. The Browns (6-5) beat the winless Lions in an ugly game. Tonight, they'll try to win consecutive games for the first time since Weeks 2-4. The Ravens (7-3) beat the Bears a week ago. Last week's win continued the Ravens' trend of comeback wins, as it was their NFL-high fifth victory this season after trailing in the fourth quarter.

Browns-Ravens Analysis: Browns quick hits - Playoff hopes take devastating blow with loss in Baltimore

Here's how the game unfolded Sunday night:

Ravens beat Browns 16-10

The Baltimore Ravens shut down the Browns running game, limited Baker Mayfield and the passing game and got enough out of their own offense to pull out the win. The Browns lost despite intercepting Lamar Jackson four times.

The Browns had the ball with 70 seconds at its own 25, with no timeouts left, and were unable to pick up a first down. They turned it over on downs at their own 32 with 48 seconds left.

Ravens kill lots of clock, get another Justin Tucker field goal

The Browns punted the ball to the Ravens with 8 1/2 minutes left in the fourth quarter and nearly didn't get the ball back.

The Ravens have picked up four first downs to set the stage of Justin Tucker's third field goal of the night, a 49-yarder with 1:10 left in the fourth quarter.

John Johnson III becomes fourth Browns DB to intercept Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson tried to work some more magic on a deep ball to tight end Mark Andrews, who hurt the Browns earlier in the second half. But on this throw, safety John Johnson III made a great interception as he was falling down in front of Andrews at the Browns 13 with 12:54 left in the fourth quarter.

It was Jackson's fourth interception of the game, all four coming on targets to Andrews — who also caught a TD pass from Jackson.

The Browns, though, couldn't turn the interception into points. They picked up a couple of first downs before the drive stalled out. They punted away with 8:29 left in the fourth quarter.

Baker Mayfield TD pass to David Njoku cuts Browns deficit to 13-10 as third quarter ends

With the Browns badly in need of a touchdown drive, Baker Mayfield and the offense came through late in the third quarter. They scored on a 20-yard TD pass by Mayfield to tight end David Njoku with 39 seconds left in the third. Njoku made a sliding catch in the end zone, as the officials reviewed whether he caught the ball.

The Browns drove 87 yards in just five plays.

A 38-yard throw to Jarvis Landry and a roughing-the-passer penalty keyed the drive.

Landry is putting together his best receiving game of the season, with six catches for 111 yards. Both figures are season highs.

Lamar Jackson to Mark Andrews finds the mark, Ravens lead 13-3

After an awful first half, Lamar Jackson starts the second by leading the Ravens on a touchdown drive after taking the second-half kickoff.

The TD came on a 13-yard pass on a third-and-10 — a throw that covered about 36 yards after Jackson scrambled backwards to avoid the Browns pass rush. Jackson then fired a pass, as Myles Garrett hit his arm, to a wide-open Mark Andrews in the end zone with 9:48 left in the third.

Earlier in the drive, Jackson bought time before finding Andrews for 39 yards to put the Ravens into the red zone. The drive covered 75 yards in nine plays, taking 5:12 off the clock.

A Nick Chubb 16-yard run got the Browns off to a nice start on the ensuing possession. But three plays later, the drive had stalled and Cleveland punted.

Lamar Jackson throws his third interception, this one to Ronnie Harrison ... half finally ends

Browns safety Ronnie Harrison picked off Lamar Jackson with 21 seconds left in the half to spoil a potential Ravens scoring drive. It was the third Browns interception in less than three minutes of game time.

So ... in the last 3:15 of the first half there's been five turnovers — two Browns fumbles and three Ravens interceptions. All three interceptions came on throws to tight end Mark Andrews. Jackson now has 11 interceptions this season.

Grant Delpit intercepts Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield gives it back

Ravens star QB Lamar Jackson threw his second interception in the final minutes of the first half. with Grant Delpit picking him off with 56 seconds left in the half to give the Browns another scoring opportunity.

The Browns, though, gave the ball back two plays later. The Ravens blew up a screen pass, and a scrambling Baker Mayfield fumbled the football near midfield.

Browns kicker Chase McLaughlin finds friendly upright to cut into Ravens lead

Chase McLaughlin bounced a 46-yard field goal off the left upright and through the uprights to get the Browns on the scoreboard with 1:02 left in the half. The Ravens lead 6-3.

Kevin Stefanski trick play backfires on Browns, leading to exchange of turnovers

Receiver Jarvis Landry took a direct snap as the quarterback in a shotgun formation for the second straight week. Last week, he scrambled for a touchdown on the play. This week, though, turned out much worse, as he fumbled looking to pass after a short scramble.

Denzel Ward instantly erased that Browns mistake. He came up with a big interception on a tipped pass on the next play to give the ball back to the Browns.

Justin Tucker stays perfect on short field goals

Justin Tucker's 25-yard field goal with 3:53 left in the first half increased Baltimore's lead to 6-0. Tucker is now 80-for-80 on field goal attempts from inside 30 yards during his career.

The Browns defense, though, came up with a nice goal-line stand to limit the Ravens to the field goal. Myles Garrett had a big hand in it. He helped make a big stop on second-and-goal from about the 1. He then knocked down a Lamar Jackson pass on third-and-goal from the 2.

Ravens lead Browns on Justin Tucker field goal after one quarter

Justin Tucker hit a 52-yard field goal with 24 seconds left in the first quarter to give Baltimore a 3-0 lead. Tucker, who nailed an NFL-record 66-yarder to beat the Lions on the final play earlier this season, is 4-for-4 from 50 yards and beyond this season. It was his 46th career field goal of 50 yards or longer.

Cleveland gave Baltimore a big assist with two huge penalties on the nine-play, 41-yard drive. The Browns got flagged for too many men on the field on fourth down to keep the drive alive and later were penalized for Malik McDowell's late hit out of bounds on Lamar Jackson.

Browns offensive tackle Jack Conklin leaves game

In his first game back from an injury, Browns starting right tackle Jack Conklin exited the game on the team's second offensive series, with under seven minutes left in the first quarter. The team announced he is out with a knee injury after he was carted from the sideline to the locker room.

Blake Hance took over at right tackle. He made four starts in Conklin's absence and has made six starts on the line overall this season and appeared in all 12 games.

Myles Garrett ties Browns single-season sack record

Myles Garrett beat three blockers to get to Lamar Jackson in the first quarter for his 14th sack to tie the team record. The sack helped ruin Baltimore's opening possession.

Browns waste early scoring chance as Chase McLaughlin misses field goal

A couple of nice completions by Baker Mayfield to Jarvis Landry moved the Browns into scoring position. But things stalled out and Chase McLaughlin missed a 46-yard field goal attempt wide left with 11:41 left in the first quarter.

Baltimore Ravens playing for AFC's best record tonight

The Ravens began the season with a host of injuries at running back. Now, with a win Sunday night against the Cleveland Browns, the Ravens will have the best record in the AFC and have the inside track to claim the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye.

The Ravens are a 7-3 on the season. A win puts them at 8-3.

The Tennessee Titans had the best record coming into the weekend but lost to the New England Patriots. The Patriots and Titans are both 8-4.
