The Dallas Cowboys (12-5) beat the Washington Commanders (4-13) 38-10 in the final week of the NFL regular season.
The Dallas Cowboys won the NFC East title with their win over the Commanders and will be the No. 2 seed in the NFC for the NFL playoffs. The Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) fell to the New York Giants (6-11) on Sunday.
The Cowboys won their second game in a row heading into the playoffs.
FIRST QUARTER
The Cowboys defense forced a turnover on down to start the game and the offense wasted no time driving down the field for a 67-yard drive capped off by a three-yard touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to Jalen Tolbert. The PAT by Brandon Aubrey was good. The Cowboys lead 7-0 with 6:26 left in the first.

SECOND QUARTER
The Commanders blocked a 32-yard field goal attempt by Aubrey, his first miss of the year and returned the ball deep into Cowboys territory. The Commanders capitalized by scoring on a one-yard touchdown catch by Brian Robinson. The PAT was good. Commanders and Cowboys tied at 7 apiece with 14:57 left in the second quarter.

The Commanders intercepted Dak Prescott and drove 38 yards to set up a 36-yard field goal by Joseph Slye. The kick was good, and the Commanders lead 10-7 with 7:04 left.
The Cowboys used passes to Lamb and Ferguson to get first downs and the Cowboys retook the lead on a one-yard touchdown rush by Tony Pollard. The PAT was good. Cowboys lead 14-10 with 4:12 left in the half.

After a Donovan Wilson interception, Prescott found Rico Dowdle for a 32-yard pass to get into Commanders territory. The Cowboys finished the drive with a four-yard touchdown catch by Lamb. The PAT was good. Cowboys lead 21-10 with 23 seconds left in the first half.

THIRD QUARTER
Key catches from Ferguson and Lamb helped propel the drive and a 20-yard rush by Dowdle set the Cowboys up at the five-yard line. Prescott found Lamb for a six-yard touchdown pass to extend the Dallas lead. The PAT was good, Cowboys lead 28-10 with 8:28 remaining in the third.

Peyton Hendershot blocked a Commanders punt attempt which gave the Cowboys the ball at the Washington nine-yard line. Prescott found Brandin Cooks for a five-yard touchdown pass. The PAT was good. Cowboys lead 35-10 with 4:06 left in the third.

FOURTH QUARTER
Aubrey missed his second kick of the game this one a 36-yard attempt. Aubrey came into Sunday’s without a miss on field goal attempts. The Cowboys lead 35-10 with 8:57 remaining in the game.
Aubrey rebounded after two missed field goal attempts by drilling a 50-yard attempt with less than two minutes left in the game. Cowboys lead 38-10 with 1:11 remaining.
