The Dallas Cowboys (6-3) beat the New York Giants (3-7) 49-17 in week 10 of the NFL season.

The win pulls the Cowboys to within two games of the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles who had their bye week.

The Cowboys beat the Giants by a collective score of 89-17 this year.

The Cowboys return to action on Nov. 19 when they travel to play the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium at 12:00 p.m.

Scoring updates

FIRST QUARTER

Dallas strikes first on a 14-yard run by wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to cap off a five-play 46-yard drive. Brandon Aubrey made the PAT and the Cowboys lead 7-0 with 3:38 left in the first.

SECOND QUARTER

The New York offense started their drive in the red zone after a Dak Prescott interception but failed to capitalize scoring no points off the turnover.

The Cowboys responded by driving 96 yards down the field to score their second touchdown game this time off a one-yard pass TD from Dak Prescott to Jake Ferguson. Aubrey was good on the PAT and the Cowboys now lead 14-0 with 8:48 left in the second quarter.

Dak Prescott continued rolling against the Giants throwing his second passing touchdown of the game this one a 10-yard pass to Brandin Cooks. Aubrey made the PAT and the Cowboys lead 21-0 with 3:48 left in the second quarter.

The Cowboys offense continued their success against the Giants with Prescott leading his fourth touchdown drive of the game and finishing it off himself with a 10-yard scramble that put the Cowboys up 28-0 after Aubrey’s successful PAT. Cowboys lead 28-0 going into halftime.

THIRD QUARTER

The Giants scored their first touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys all season when Lawrence Cager caught a 10-yard pass from Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito. The Giants trail 28-7 with 8:07 left in the third.

The Dallas Cowboys responded with a six-play 86-yard drive which was ended by a 41-yard touchdown pass from Prescott to Michael Gallup. Another Aubrey PAT and the Cowboys lead 35-7 with 4:40 left in the third.

The Cowboys offensive onslaught continues. Dak Prescott threw his fourth touchdown pass of the game to Lamb to cap off a 77-yard drive. Prescott has now thrown for 404 yards through three quarters against the Giants. Cowboys lead 42-7.

FOURTH QUARTER

Cooper Rush came in to play quarterback in relief of Prescott and threw an interception on his first drive which led to a short field which the Giants took advantage of for a 40-yard field goal by Randy Bullock. Cowboys lead 42-10 with 8:54 left in the fourth.

The Cowboys punctuated a dominant victory over the Giants with a one-yard rushing touchdown by Rico Dowdle to give the Cowboys a 49-10 lead with 2:14 left in the game.

The Giants scored a garbage-time touchdown off a Sterling Shepard 2-yard touchdown catch with 10 seconds remaining in the game. The Giants fell 49-17 to the Dallas Cowboys.
