In addition to our Monday Dolphins stories here and here, we’ll have a live blog here this afternoon, with more news coming, including injury updates from Mike McDaniel’s 4:30 p.m. news conference. We will add updates to the top:

4:45 p.m. update: Left guard Isaiah Wynn, who has played very well this season, will be out for “weeks” with a quadriceps injury, McDaniel said, adding that the Dolphins are doing more tests.

Meanwhile, safety Jevon Holland is in concussion protocol after he reported symptoms on Monday following his collision with teammate David Long Jr. on Sunday.

Holland returned to the game Sunday because independent doctors cleared him to return. Long, who did not return to the game, is not in concussion protocol and is fine; he reported no symptoms on Monday.

At left guard, Lester Cotton replaced Wynn after Wynn sustained the injury early in Sunday’s game. Cotton and Robert Jones are the options to fill in.

“Lester is a very accountable person and has come as far as anybody we’ve had on the roster since he joined the team last year,” McDaniel said. “It’s a tough spot to be in to go out there and perform against a front like that. There are things he could do better if he had the whole practice week as a starter.”

As for Jones, “Rob has been working his tail off to get in the position he’s in right now, to actively play,” McDaniel said. “We are fortunate to have depth and I look forward to Lester getting a lot more reps at the position during the week.”

Also, receiver Jaylen Waddle - who missed a part of Sunday’s game with a back injury - is doing “all right” and should be able to practice on Wednesday, McDaniel said.

ESPN reported that Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey might play on Sunday; McDaniel was non-committal but said he will get regular defensive team practice reps this week “to see how he feels.” Ramsey had knee surgery in August and remains on injured reserve.

McDaniel said Ramsey had “a great practice week and won scout team player of the week” last week.

4:35 p.m. update: McDaniel on the Dolphins appearing on HBO’s in-season “Hard Knocks” (see below for details): “I wouldn’t call it a team decision. It’s something I conveyed to the team for the first time today. I see some positives with this particular team.”

McDaniel said the Dolphins were “worried about some of the competitive advantages leaving the building. In our short talks with the league and HBO, we’ve had those talks suppressed.”

The NFL has said in the past that teams can ask HBO and NFL Films to remove clips that compromise the team competitively. McDaniel expects the team’s relationship with NFL Films and HBO to be “amicable” through that process.

Of the Dolphins’ apparent appeal to HBO and NFL Films, McDaniel said: “There are a lot of things when we have success on the field that people are sort of curious how this happened.. I understand the value to the NFL, NFL Films, HBO and the value for the Dolphins.... It’s not bad for the organization to be seen as that because it’s a cool place to work.”

Filming will begin “when we take the trip to Germany [next Monday to play Kansas City Nov. 5] and through the finality of the season,” McDaniel said. “It will be part of our DNA really.”

4:33 p.m. update: McDaniel said he told the team before the Eagles game that if they won, the narrative would be that they’re the best team and “if we lose the game, [the narrative is] we can’t beat good teams.”

His point is if the Dolphins won on Sunday night, “I don’t want a false sense of security” and if they lost, he didn’t want them to “make more of it than it is.”

McDaniel added: “I know the narrative is there. It will be there until we beat a team with a really good record.”

4:20 p.m. update: Former Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan, who claimed earlier this offseason that the Dolphins reached out to him, told FanDuel’s Kay Adams today: “As far as Miami… I know this is not gonna be received very well, but I do think we’re on a fraud alert type of situation…I fell for it too!”

3:20 p.m. update: The NFL has selected the Dolphins to appear on this year’s in-season incarnation of HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” which offers a behind the scenes look at coaches, players and how NFL teams operate behind closed doors.

The Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals were spotlighted during the first two in-season editions of “Hard Knocks.”

The in-season Hard Knocks is a spin-off of the usual training camp “Hard Knocks” series produced by NFL Films and HBO. The original preseason “Hard Knocks” debuted in 2001; the Dolphins previously appeared in that August/early September series.

HBO and the NFL declined to say when the program will debut or how many episodes will air. But keep in mind that there were nine “Hard Knocks” episodes on the Cardinals last November, December and January -- a larger volume than the typical five-episode preseason/training camp “Hard Knocks.”

The Dolphins’ series will air on both HBO and the HBO Max streaming service.

Last year, then-Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury said coaches and players were going to “want to be on your A-game” with the cameras always following, and added that it might be a motivational tool “if you use it the right way.”
